Spain boasts pretty much everything one would expect from a country with such rich tradition. Its history is present in the streets and buildings, its nature constantly surprises and its gastronomy is world class, a delight for the eyes as well as the palate. The differences between the regions of the country explain the diversity: in the north, we can find León, home to buildings like the Gothic Cathedral, Toledo, filled with charming alleys and Bilbao, with its modern Guggenheim Museum.  In the south, the region of Andaluzia has exuberant landscapes, a perfect backdrop when you stroll through its historic sites, such as the imposing Alhambra fortress. The region is also known for the bars and restaurants, where you can enjoy the classic tapas with delicious Spanish wines. A must-see in the country is the capital Madrid, a cosmopolitan city that combines intense cultural life with the raw beauty of its gardens.  With all of this, Spain awakens all our senses and makes travelling there a truly enriching experience!

WHEN TO GO: The climate in Spain varies by region. The north coast, bathed by the Atlantic Ocean, constantly receives cold winds from the sea. In the center, where the capital Madrid is, the continental climate prevails, and it can even snow in winter. In the south, on the other hand, summer is rigorous, very hot and dry, with almost no rain. Therefore, traveling during spring or fall is always a better option.

It's worth it

GRANADA impresses with the beauty of the imposing Alhambra, a complex of forts, gardens and palaces built over the centuries by Arabs and Christian kings. The Albaicín neighborhood is also on this list of mandatory stops, characterized by the Arab heritage, with charming bars, restaurants and hotels.

Capital of Andaluzia, SEVILLE is a great representative of the idea most people have about Spain. In addition to monuments that are also world heritage sites, like Plaza de España and the Cathedral (which is the largest Gothic cathedral in the world), the city has charming neighborhoods, such as Santa Cruz, as well as an old Jewish quarter, where you can learn a little more of the local history. Flamenco in Seville is like nowhere else, so going to a show is a must!

MADRID, the Spanish capital, is a cosmopolitan city that mixes the rhythm of flamenco, the taste of tapas, the intense cultural life and the beauty of the gardens. Sporting events like the football matches of the local teams or the incredible museum of the main club of the city - Real Madrid - are safe bets for sport fans. One of the highlights of the city is the Prado Museum: considered among the best in the world, it has a complete collection of Spanish paintings from the 11th to 18th centuries, among many works by universally renowned painters such as El Greco, Velásquez, Goya, El Bosco, Tiziano and Rembrandt.

The view of the coast is enchanting and when you get to know the city: you can't help but fall in love with SAN SEBASTIAN. Enjoy the beautiful beaches with the traditional pintxos accompanied by beer or the local cider. In addition to the historic center, the place has two unmissable attractions: the Jazz Festival that takes place in July and the International Film Festival in September.
